Military trucks at Myanmar's pagoda

YANGON (Reuters) - Several military trucks were stationed outside Yangon's Shwedagon Pagoda on Tuesday, the assembly point for tens of thousands of Buddhist monks marching against Myanmar's ruling generals, a Reuters witness said.

Witnesses also reported loudspeaker vehicles were touring central Yangon, warning people not to join the monks' protest marches.
